To get a sample of the Brazilian culture, you don’t have to travel all the way to Brazil anymore; just make sure you visit Carnaval Brasileiro held annually around the month of February. Local and other dance groups and musicians perform during the festival. Participate in the dances, try the samba with the local Austinites, listen to the Brazilian tunes and Portuguese songs and enjoy the wild festivities. Tickets can be booked online, but only cash is accepted at the ticket offices.
