Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán is a mariachi ensemble from Tecalitlán, Mexico that was originally founded in 1897. Though the group initially built its reputation as a live band, the band has also achieve popularity as a recording group since releasing its debut album, Danzones, in 1964.
