Jackyl is a Southern rock/metal band from Kennesaw, Georgia that is perhaps best known for its innovative track "The Lumberjack," which features a chainsaw solo in the place of more traditional rock instruments. Taking a more controversial approach to promoting its eponymous debut album, when K-Mart refused to sell the album due to its suggestive content and songs such as "She Loves My Cock," the members of Jackyl set up outside of a K-Mart location and gave an impromptu concert in response. Jackyl has since become quite a cult favorite since its debut in 1990, and is regularly featured on television and at festivals throughout the US.
