Band of Horses emerged out of Seattle in 2004 with Southern, indie rock sound and raw style. After catching the attention of Sub Pop records while serving as Iron & Wine's opening act, the band released its debut LP, Everything All The Time, in 2006 and defined its straight forward guitar sonic aesthetic that would go on to make it one of the most revered independent acts of the 2000s. Through the band's different lineups, font man and founder Ben Bridwell has remained Band of Horses' creative director and lead vocalist, though the band's signature sound is due in major part to his two-part harmonies with guitarist and vocalist Tyler Ramsey, who has been a member of the band since it's 2007 album Cease to Begin.
