Join us for our summer program of inspirational and entertaianing music from America's past--near and far. The Putnam Chorale Summer Ensemble 2024 will present the organ and choral music of Charles Ives in the church where he played organ as a young performer and songwriter (now comfortably air conditioned). A few works you will likely hear for the first time. Add to that rousing classics like The Battle Hymn of the Republic and Testament of Freedom for a July extravaganza. On the lighter side, American clsssics like I've got Rhythm, My Funny Valentine and others will leave you tapping your feet and singing along.
