Jacek Zuzanski, the founder of Dream Tale Puppets, studied pantomime with Henryk Tomaszewski, acting with the actors of Grotowski’s Laboratorium Theater and Barba’s Odin Teatret. He has a master's degree in art from the State Puppetry Institute in Wrocław and a Certificate of Stage Directing from the Ministry of Culture and Art. Before coming to the US in 2001, he taught theater, designed and built puppets, and performed and directed in schools, community centers, and theaters in Poland and Germany. He continued his artistic and pedagogical work in the US, collaborating with schools and cultural centers, including Cape Cod Conservatory, Falmouth Academy, Polish Theater Institute, and Puppet Showplace Theater.
