Dominique A is a soft rock signer/songwriter from Provins, a town in the north-central region of France. Growing up, Dominique always had a strong passion for novels and stories that conveyed powerful messages about the struggles and strifes that face everyone on a daily basis. Though feeling a strong connection with the punk rock ethos that was popular during his early years in the 1980s, as Dominique started writing his own songs, he began to identify with the affected romanticism that went hand in hand with the new wave movement. Releasing his debut album, Le Disque Sourd, in 1991, Dominique has proven himself over his decades long career as a more than capable musician who's capable of constantly releasing respectable music and touring strongly in support of it.
