Born in China to German parents and having spent the majority of his childhood between Switzerland, Berlin and the United States, Stephan Sulke is a singer/songwriter with a defined world culture attached to his musical sensibilities. Sulke released his first single "Tourne-Disque Sun," in Europe before making himself known in the US with his hit single "Where Did She Go," in 1965. After releasing music in English and French under various pseudonyms in the late 1960s and early 1970s, Sulke released German language material under his own name and became well-known figure throughout German-speaking nations, particularly after the release of his self-titled debut album in 1976. Sulke created music and toured throughout Switzerland and Germany well into the 2000s, releasing his 21st album Enten Hätt' ich Züchten Sollen, in 2011.
