Hosted each year by the Saint Patrick's Association (SPA), The St. Patrick's Day Parade draws large crowds for wholesome, family-friendly frolicking, Irish style. St. Patrick himself, (390AD-460AD) became famous for converting thousands to Christianity. Today, St. Paul celebrates with loads of liquor-but not at this event, as public drinking is strictly prohibited. Don't forget to wear green! The route of the parade runs along Fourth Street, starting at 4th and Sibley and ending at Rice Park.
