Jonatha Brooke is a folk rock singer/songwriter from Massachusetts whose 1990s coffeehouse music sensibility has been compared to singers like Sheryl Crow, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Melissa Etheridge. Part of the folk duo The Story, with Jennifer Kimball, Brooke would eventually strike out on her debut solo album, Plumb, in 1995. Since then Brooke has kept active, releasing additional LPs and touring.
