Born into a family of klezmer musicians, Giora Feidman is a klezmer music clarinetist from Argentina who began his career as the youngest clarinet player to join the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. After leaving the Israel Philharmonic in the early 1970s, he began his solo career and went on to perform as a soloist with the Kronos Quartet and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. By request of legendary director Steven Spielberg, Feidman contributed all of the clarinet solos for the Academy Award-winning soundtrack of Schindler's List.
