George "Buddy" Guy is a guitarist and singer from Lettsworth, Louisiana, who was born in 1936. He taught himself how to play guitar using a diddley bow that he had made himself. His career began in the early 1950s and his first album was released in 1965. Guy took advantage of his inherent talent and unique style and went on to compose songs that would crown him one of the best guitarists of all times.
