American rock band Firefall was formed in 1974 by former Flying Burrito Brothers-frontman Rick Roberts and Jock Bartley. Its recorded and released its self-titled debut album in 1976 which, along with the band's second album Luna Sea, went Gold. In 1978, the band began working on its third record Elan. The album went on to be certified Platinum. Firefall hit a rough patch after two years of constant touring and recording, and was compelled to regroup. It has since released albums like Firefall: Greatest Hits, You are the Woman, The Essentials: Firefall and The Complete Atlantic Albums, among others. Its blend of rock with elements of country and pop music has spawned many tracks including "Just Remember I Love You," "Strange Way," "Cinderella," "Mexico" and more.
