San Antonio four-piece Two Tons of Steel has been performing since 1990 and, very fittingly for a country band, takes its name from front man Kevin Geil's 1956 hardtop Cadillac. Two Tons of Steal is constantly voted San Antonio's best country band year after year by its hometown weekly; it's featured in a documentary that plays everyday at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and the group even toured throughout Europe, gaining a decent sized fan base along the way - an unusual feat for a country band. The group continues to be one of America's most popular country acts, selling out venues nationwide.
