I Muvrini is a folk band from the island of Corsica, France. Formed by brothers Jean-Francois and Alain Bernardini in the early 1980s, the group borrowed the textures of traditional Corsica music to create its own world pop sound. I Muvrini released its debut album, Ti Ringrazianu in 1979, utilizing the Corsican language to uplift its already infectious folk style. Renowned supporters of Corsican culture, the band earned a devoted national following while helping to expose the distinctive traditions of the country with the accessible songs of records like 2002's Umami and 2015's Invicta.
