Tending to Tots is a Waldorf inspired program for parents and/or caregivers and children (ages 1-3) hosted on the farm at Keiki and Plow. This small group (10 max) program will run for 6 weeks with a purpose to nurture a child's curiosity, strengthen roots of connection to self, others, and nature while embracing the wild of these wonderful early years. This class also offers a supportive space for families to connect, discuss child development, rhythm and family life, and grow community.During our morning together, you and your child will experience tending to the land, enjoy farm fresh snacks, engage in circle songs, stories, seasonal crafting and explore the uniquely playful learning environment that Keiki and Plow has to offer.Program Details:6 week sessionAugust 12- September 18thMondays and Wednesdays weekly9-11 am$600/child and caregiver*1/1 ratio is requiredREGISTRATION REQUIRED, NO WALK-INSAbout our teacher:Jillian Gold is a Colorado native and nature enthusiast, trading the snow for the sea when she moved to Hawaii in 2011. During this time, she also became involved as an instructor and mentor with Roots of Empathy, a program that fosters inclusion and emotional literacy in grade school children. Jillian is passionate about bringing caregiver-child education and support to communities across the island. Along with her sacred sunrise cup of coffee, she enjoys creating art, music, meals and memories with her family and friends.Participants will receive a detailed information letter and are required to complete the liability waiver prior to the first class.
