Our distillery tour and tasting is located in a truly unique location. We are based in the heart of The Rocks in Sydney, almost under the iconic Harbour Bridge. Our distillery is easy to get to via ferry, bus, train and tram and there are lots of activities in and around The Rocks to entertain you before or after your tour. Hickson House Distilling Immersive Gin And Whisky Distillery Tour And Tasting!
Our distillery tour and tasting is located in a truly unique location. We are based in the heart of The Rocks in Sydney, almost under the iconic Harbour Bridge. Our distillery is easy to get to via ferry, bus, train and tram and there are lots of activities in and around The Rocks to entertain you before or after your tour. The distillery itself it built in a historic bond building that used to house goods sent to Australia from all over the world. One of Australias largest and oldest gantry cranes was located in the building and the steel girders holding up the building are the same used in the building of the Harbour Bridge under which we are located. The tour itself takes you from the starting point of whisky (the grain), right through to the barreling process. Our gin still produces all of our award winning gin right on site. For pre or post dining or drinks, Hickson House also features a full bar and dining room to enjoy while spending some time with us.
