Jeff Sipe is a drummer from Berlin who has tapped into various styles of playing over the course of his career. Renowned for his jazz fusion style, he is perhaps best known as a member of the experimental rock and jazz outfit Aquarium Rescue Unit, which he founded in the early 1990s along with Col. Bruce Hampton. While performing and recording music with his band, he honed several other genres like funk, bluegrass, rock and blues as a member of various bands including Leftover Salmon and Zambiland Orchestra.
