Montblanc (4.810m) is one of the best known mountains in the world and rightly so, since it is the highest summit in the Alps and the massif that extends to the south of Chamonix (the capital of Montblanc) and borders with France, Italy and Switzerland. There are 6 classic itineraries for its ascension, and the easiest and busiest is the normal or Goûter route, since it is done via the Goûter refuge.
