Lexington honors the birthday of native son and Confederate army hero, Stonewall Jackson, in grand style during this annual event. Sons of Confederate Veterans lead a parade through town before stopping to pay respects at his grave. The Stonewall Jackson House, a National Registered Landmark, jumps into the mood too by offering free tours of his former residence and displaying some of Jackson's personal possessions. Admission is free.
