The Arkansas Travelers, oftentimes affectionately referred to as 'The Travs,' is a minor league baseball team based out of Little Rock, Arkansas that competes in the Texas League's North Division. Founded in 1963, the team has acted as a Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Angels. Having won its first of several division titles in 1971, the team has proven itself as a premier organization that produces talented players who go on to have successful careers in the majors.
