Karla Bonoff is a singer/songwriter who is best-known for the folk and pop songs she penned for other artists. After releasing her eponymous debut album in 1977, she continued to record her own material but became renowned for her songwriting after artists including Bonnie Raitt, Wynonna Judd and Linda Ronstadt began to record her work. Bonoff spent time in the group called Bryndle while also releasing her own records, including 1982's Wild Heart of the Young and 1988's New World. She continues to tour internationally, spreading her signature folk pop tunes to a broader audience.
