The two famous composers George Frideric Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach hang around a lot: for more than 250 years, they have been spending their posthumous existence in the picture frames of the music room in a small castle museum. But every evening at midnight, at the witching hour, their portraits come to life. And then a fierce argument breaks out between Bach and Handel: Which of the two was the better composer? Museum guide Constanze bursts into the middle of one of these nocturnal debates. To reconcile the rivals, she has a trio of ghost musicians play various pieces by the two composers. And because she is a virtuoso soprano, she also tries to mediate with her own singing. Initially she has no success, because the views of these two squabblers are simply too far apart. But then she has an idea. From ages six to ten.
