Point of Honor represents the intersection of two worlds: the landowners and the enslaved people who together created the beautiful historic site we know today. This 75-minute tour highlights the successes and struggles of the diverse plantation community in the early days of Lynchburg and our nation.Visitors will explore the carefully restored Federal period main house, the landscape around the house (including the Front Lawn, North Lawn, and Orchard), and the Hearth Kitchen.Space is limited, and reservations are required in advance. Each tour is limited to 10 people. Click on the "Buy Tickets" button above or call (434) 455–6226 to purchase your ticket. Tours include climbing steep steps and walking through grass and irregular terrain, so please wear comfortable walking shoes.
