The Italian blues/folk singer was born on September 25, 1955 in Roncocesi, Italy, and was given the nickname, Zucchero (Sugar), by an elementary teacher. This musicians career has been more than busy, releasing an album nearly every year from 1983 to 2008. His unique vibe and talent as a young artist granted him the opportunity to work with an endless list of other talents and celebrities, including Luciano Pavarotti, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sting, Andrea Bocelli and more. He was even invited by Dan Aykroyd to perform at the House of Blues for John Belushi's birthday, and was the only Italian musician present at Woodstock 1994.
