This event (formerly called D-Tox) is one of the biggest rock festivals in Quebec. Started in 2005 by a 17-year-old (!) rock aficionado named Alex Martel, Amnesia strives to be "fan-centered," offering tickets for reasonable prices. The festival's lineup is sure to warm the hearts of those who like hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore, and punk. Past guests of the event include Bad Religion, Dream Theater, and Korn. As for the venue, the festival takes place in a village called Montebello, known for its Château Montebello--the world's biggest log structure. The festival website proudly states that Montebello's population is only "900 citizens, 1000 cows."
