Los Cafres is one of the most well known reggae bands in Latin America. This Buenos Aires based band first performed at a local pub in 1987. The turbulent situations in of the late 1980's Argentina forced the band to dissolve but just few years later the members managed got back together and in 1994, they re-entered the music scene with a bang by releasing their first album "Frecuencia Cafre." Although the band was already famous in Argentina, their 2004 album "Vivo a lo Cafre" provided them with the much deserved international popularity. With decades on experience and an extensive list of albums, Los Cafres is considered as one of the pioneering bands of Spanish reggae.
