One of the jewels of the USL, Phoenix Rising FC has been a dominant force since it was rebranded in 2017. Founded in 2014 as the Arizona United Soccer Club, a change in the team name and image also came with a change in the approach of the game. One of the dominant forces in the league, big name players such as Didier Drogba and Shaun Wright-Phillips have once donned the jersey of this club.
