Mary Fahl is a folk singer/songwriter and actress who rose to attention as the lead singer of the pop rock trio October Project in the mid-1990s. After leaving the group in 1996, she embarked on a solo career and dropped her first EP, Lenses of Contact, in 2001. Fahl soon caught the attention of Sony Classic, who signed her before dropping her debut solo EP, The Other Side of Time in 2003. The record earned critical acclaim for her intimate lyrics and rich songwriting. in 2011, Fahl released a folk-tinged alternative rock re-imagining of Pink Floyd's iconic album, The Dark Side of the Moon. Her version, titled From the Dark Side of the Moon, was hailed as a worthy interpretation of the seminal album.
