John Lodge is an English singer/songwriter and bassist who might best be known as being a long time member of the seminal experimental rock band The Moody Blues. Releasing his debut album, Blue Jays, in 1975 when the Moody Blues were on a five year hiatus, Lodge's solo material oftentimes explores traditional English folk styles and progressive rock instrumental approaches. Though Lodge still maintains active with the Moody Blues, he still manages to keep time for his solo endeavors, having released his well-recieved solo album 10,000 Light Years Ago in 2015.
