We'll pass the front of the sign at the closest point for pictures from the front. We'll also hike to the summit above the sign to get as close as we can to the sign and take in glorious 360-degrees voices of the LA Basin, the San Fernando Valley, the San Gabriels, the Santa Monicas, the Pacific Ocean, DTLA and much more.

This Hollywood Sign hike starts in the Brush Canyon parking lot and goes up Brush Canyon Trail and Mulholland Trail to the Tyrolean Tank for the most popular viewpoint of the sign and then turns back to summit Mt. Lee, behind the Hollywood Sign. This tour is the wildest of the bunch and offers encounters with four major ecological communities in Southern California: Coastal Sage Scrub, Riparian, Chaparral, and Oak Woodland. In this setting we touch on the Gabrieleño/Tongva first Californians, the Spanish Colony, the Mexican Era, the history of U.S. Statehood and the Hollywood film industry, and we'll find the connections between these cultural periods and the ecology that shaped them.
