Contemporary folk musician David Wilcox has been known for mixing the best aspects of pop and modern folk since his 1987 debut album, The Nightshift Watchman. Throughout the 1990s and the 2000s, he has steadily released a succession of albums, inspired by the music of James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Motown Records, with his intimate singer/songwriter sound. His 2010 album, Reverie, is an all-new collection of songs that Wilcox recorded and played for the first time in front of a live audience. The cozy show resulted in an album that exemplifies his accessible emotion driven music.
