Classical crossover vocalist Jackie Evancho was first introduced to the world at the age of ten when she stunned the US on the fifth season of America's Got Talent in 2010. From Philadelphia, Evancho submitted a Youtube video audition for the the popular television show, earned the most votes of any audition that year and went on to finish the competition in second place. With the release of her EP O Holy Night later the same year, she became the best-selling debut artist, the youngest artist to debut in the top ten in US history and the youngest solo artist to go platinum. In the years follownig her national debut, she was invited to perform for President Barack Obama at the 2010 national Christmas Tree lighting in Washington, D.C. and her 2011 debut solo album Dream With Me, debuted at number two on the US Album Chart. In addition to breaking several age boundaries in the recording industry, Evancho began acting and appearing in films such as She's Out of My League in 2010 and 2012's The Company You Keep.
