El Día de la Constitución (Constitution Day) is an official holiday in all of Mexico. On this day businesses, banks, schools and government buildings are closed. The celebration is in honor of the most recent Mexican constitution which was signed in 1917. Celebrations usually include parades, music, dancing and the sharing of food with family and friends.
