Fittingly named, Hollywood Undead is a band based out of Los Angeles with six members who wear horror movie-inspired masks when performing. While the group incorporates a plethora of musical styles into its music, including hip-hop, alternative rock, nu metal and techno--a blend that has been called confusing by some critics--the band primarily falls into the rap-rock genre. After forming in 2005, Hollywood Undead looked for a label that wouldn't attempt to censor its music and eventually signed to A&M/Octone Records, which has released the band's string of commercially successful albums.
