Gong, the multi-functional hall built in 2011-12 was among the five projects that were named Construction of the Year in 2013 and in the next year, it was ranked among the top 10 buildings in the world. Originally a gas tank reservoir for the blast furnace of a coal mine, the structure was modified to become a multi-functional cultural and social center. All kinds of social events from conferences and festivals to theater performances and film screenings take place here.
