Covering an area of 24,000 square meters (260,000 square feet), the Louvre Abu Dhabi showcases the best of both eastern and western fine art and history. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the museum was built to resemble a dome floating in water. Not only does this design mean plenty of shade across the property, but the structure is also a treat for the eyes when lit up at night. Located in Saadiyat Island's Cultural District, the museum's historic collection ranges from antiquity to houses pieces from all over the world. Patrons can enjoy opportunities to glimpse Picasso paintings and survey works by Bellini and Mondrian, not to mention take in Bronze Age terra cotta statues and so much more. Whether you like art, architecture or artifacts, a visit to the Louvre Abu Dhabi is not to be missed!
