Located in a splendid Baroque town house, Stadtmuseum Lindau is home to a wide collection of artifacts that narrate the history of this quaint island town. The permanent collection displays old and contemporary paintings, antique furniture, and other intriguing artifacts that include dollhouses, tablet inscriptions, coins, mechanical music boxes, and household items. It also hosts special exhibitions from time to time that display spectacular works of art like paintings and sculptures. Apart from the museum, the building itself is a wonderful sight to behold.
