TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
This cathedral is one of the most noteworthy Gothic monuments of the Piedmont. It was constructed in the year 1500 over an 11th century predecessor building. The facade is terra cotta and is structured by three portals; a Romanesque bell tower stands to one side. The interior of this three-aisled structure features altarpieces and frescoes dating from the 15th through 17th centuries. Of special interest is the cathedral treasure chamber containing sacred objects.
