Duomo di Sant'Emidio is a cathedral of the city of Ascoli Piceno, and city life during the communal period was centered around the cathedral. The cathedral is beautifully maintained even today, and boasts of a stunning white travertine in the exterior and intricate mosaics inside. The building also has a crypt underneath it. The architectural beauty and aesthetic lighting make the church a good place to click pictures.
