Centre Hip Hop La Place

The first of its kind in the city that is for all things hip-hop, La Place opened its doors in 2016. It took eight years for this cultural center devoted to this genre come to fruition. Set in the Canopée des Halles, it covers all aspects of this culture - from music to street art, beat-boxing, cinema and literature. Comprising of creative spaces, event venues, and co-working areas, this is where all the hip-hop buzz is when in town. You can also unwind over a few drinks at The Bar which is open even during non-event days.
