The Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park is the manifestation of owner Robert Filberg's rags to riches story. Build in 1929 as a summer house for his family, this lodge overlooks the turquoise waters of the Strait of Georgia and is surrounded by a lush garden. The park is home to distinctive types of trees and flowering plants making it appear like a scene from paradise. A stream peacefully runs through the green expanse, creating a backdrop for visitors that's straight out of a fairy tale. The herb garden and the Totem Pole are striking features of the place. The park has no entrance fee, however if you wish to take a tour of the lodge, a donation is required. Today, this beautiful property has been bestowed the honor of being a Municiple Heritage site.
