Nordseestadion opened in 1974 as a multipurpose ground and hosts football and track and field fixtures. It is the home ground of OSC Bremerhaven and Bremerhaven Seahawks. The stadium other than hosting football tournaments and several other athletic fixtures, is host to several international and regional events and cultural programs.
