Ohio Theatre

Housed in the town of Loudonville’s first historic theatrical building, Ohio Theatre is a historical landmark and popular tourist attraction for tourists and local residents alike. Built as an opera house and municipal cultural hall, the historic Ohio Theatre was once the region’s cultural epicenter. This over hundred years-old building currently houses the town’s police department, the village offices, council chambers and a 350-seat opera house. The opera house features a movie theatre and is also leased out for other events, including musical performances, weddings, social gatherings, reunions and other cultural events. The Ohio Theatre was included in the list of National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
