Located in Blenheim, Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre opened its doors to the public in 2006. The museum is dedicated to the aviation history of the country and has numerous original and model aircraft's on display like the Etrich Taube, Airco DH 2, Breguet 14, etc. The main attraction of the museum is the two permanent exhibitions; The Knights of the Sky and The Dangerous Sky where the former one has a dedicated display of aircraft's from World War I and the latter has a display of the aviation culture during World War II.
