Fort Balaguier, built around 1636 to protect the port of Toulon from potential invaders, remains an important landmark in the town of La Seyne-sur-Mer. Overlooking the bay, the fort appears majestic in its form. Its awe-inspiring vantage point offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Today, it houses a few maritime and art exhibits that draw both visitors and locals. There is also a small botanical garden within the fort's grounds.
