For a deeper insight into the history of Boulder, a visit to the Museum of Boulder is a must. On display is an eclectic collection of artifacts recounting the interesting and illustrious past of Boulder County and some of the highlights include exhibits about the rough-and-tumble people who used prospecting and prostitution to survive as well as how the farmers of yesteryear cultivated the West. The structure itself is magnificent, its comprised of Indiana sandstone and Tiffany stained glass windows. Boasting over 45000 artifacts and 900000 photographs and documents as well as interactive displays in the basement, a visit to the Museum of Boulder is an enriching one.
