Mayo Civic Center nestled in the heart of Rochester is a state-of-the-art convention center. This extravagant convention center features a spacious ballroom, a multipurpose arena, auditorium, presentation rooms, as well as, numerous meeting and conference rooms. You will find exciting basketball, boxing, and MMA matches, concerts, theatrical productions and other performing art events, all under one roof at Mayo Civic Center. Originally built in 1938, over 40,000 square feet (3716.1216 square meters) of event space was further added to this world-class convention center in a major renovation work that was carried out between 2015 to 2017.
