500 Northeast Captain Michael King Smith Way, McMinnville, OR, United States, 97128
Home to the massive Howard Hughes H-4 Hercules "Spruce Goose" flying boat, this museum provides a fascinating learning experience for anyone interested in the history of American aviation. In close proximity to the museum's entrance stands an F-15 fighter jet memorial honoring Captain Michael King Smith, the founder of the aviation institute. The self-guided tour takes approximately 2-3 hours, and museum docents are on-site if you have questions. Besides this, the museum is also home to a theater where you can watch documentaries and 3D movies related to aviation.
