It is most notably home to the Brüggen Castle, a 13th-century water castle and the Brachter Molen, a historic windmill. While the castle often forms the backdrop for several concerts and local events, the mill is known for its architecture. Brüggen also comprises of an expansive nature reserve, which was formerly a military land.
